Before you start with Task 1, we invite you to have a look at the following weblink, in which you will learn a lot of vocabulary about travelling by air.
TASK 1
Once you are familiar with both vocabulary and grammar related to travelling, you can start your school trip planning....
Browse the web and find a list of English- speaking countries. Choose a few posible destinations. Discuss the advantages and disadvantages of each destination and come to an agreement on the final destination.
Check that it is possible to reach your chosen destinations easily. Many websites of cities have a section called "how to get there".
Once you have decided your destination, find out basic information about its size, population, currency, etc.
Hand in everything you have worked on to your English teachers for supervision.
You should not spend more than one working session on this task.
GET YOUR PASSPORT: LOOK FOR THE CONTINENT WHERE YOUR DESTINATION IS LOCATED . ADD ENGLISH: IT'S TRAVEL TIME, WRITE DOWN THE STARTING DATE AND GET YOUR TEACHER'S STAMP.

TASK 2
Now it is time to find information and take notes about these things:
1. Travel options (means of transport, prices, locations, etc)
2. Accomodation options (types of accomodation, prices, locations, etc)
3. Culture and entertainment (places of interest, museums, attractions, shopping areas, countryside, geographical features, etc)
BE CAREFUL, MAKE A NOTE OF ALL COSTS YOU NEED TO BE WITHIN THE "BUDGET"
To do this task, you will have to distribute the work.
Once again, show what you are working on to your teacher before going on.
Two working sessions should be enough.
TASK 3
SPEAKING TIME
Have a group meeting to share your information. Take turns to talk about the options you have found. Discuss each option briefly and decide on the way of travelling, the best accomodation and a few of the best options for culture and entertainment.
One working session should be enough.
